Rose replied, You're welcome, then dragged some moss over, shaped it, found a few loose feathers around, tucked them in, and yawned. I'm so tired, she said sluggishly, and fell asleep within seconds.

Rose dreamed. She saw two gorgeous kits, frolicking among the rocks that looked like part of the camp.

Rose woke up, blinking sleep from her eyes. Chime and Ocean were curled up by her, their soft kitten fur rising and falling along the lines of their breathing.

Rose got up carefully, looked at her little family, and walked out to get some food.
*Minutes later*
Rose padded back in, carrying 2 voles, and a mouse for the kits. She dropped one of the voles by Night, then mouse by Chime and Ocean, and settled down to eat her vole.

Chime shuddered, and woke up to find her brother stealing all the mouse! She pounced playfully on him, snatched a bite of mouse, and batted the rest away from him.
Rose sighed and shook her head, smiling, she turned to Night, and mewed, Kits will be kits!
