Jay coiled up into a ball, feeling terrible. Deserting Wish felt horrible, but there was something calling to him. Far away. He sighed, and fell asleep.

*Several months later*
Jay stood, feeling wonderful. But, there was always a hollow feeling in him. He thought back to Wish, with her soft fur, and sparkling eyes. Jay winced, and quickly decided to hunt, pushing back the thoughts of Wish.

Jay padded back into his den, carrying a plump rabbit. He chewed thoughtfully on it while he thought.
